I'm Afraid Of Changing My Name

Will it hurt? Is the "formerly-known-as" signature line a REPLACEMENT for my sig line images... or IN ADDITION TO my sig line images?

Will it change my personality? Will I remember everything from before? Will my friends still like me?

MOST IMPORTANT: Will my enemies still dislike me and fear me?

What new name should I choose?

the red "formerly known as" line is in addition to regular siglines, since it shows up even when siglines are turned off due to high traffic.

When I first registered at DU, I was sort of afraid to post here. I'm rather shy to begin with, and I'm not very good at going up to people I don't know and talk to them. I never have been comfortable doing that. The people here ar DU seemed to be a nice bunch...but it was just getting over taking that big first step.

But then I was reading these posts from arwalden...and he seemed like such a good, decent, sweet guy. Someone I wanted to get to know better. Someone I hoped would become a friend.

And I got up the nerve to post to one of your posts...and you replied. And you were just as I thought...sweet, funny, warm. One of those genuinely good persons you're privilged to meet while on this Earth.

SO...you will always be Allen, with the same qualities. It would just be nice to see arwalden here all the time.
