Edited on Mon Nov-22-04 10:18 PM by nu_duer
I say Marylin Manson.

Tho I think a "MM Does Xmas" CD would be just the thing to re-invigorate his career.

2. Did he do "Personal Jesus" straight
or did he fuck around with it?

Anyway, in answer to your question...Oh, I dunno.

How 'bout Cat Stevens?

31. That's a good choice!
A Christmas album from Cat Stevens? I'd check for Satan on ice skates!

3. Richard Thompson and maybe
Randy Newman. That's not to say they could put out "interesting" Christmas material, but I can't help but think it'd be somewhat dark:)

4. If Manson could rip off Bing or Dean's work and make a dollar...
He would.

He ripped off the Eurythmics AND Depeche Mode. Bing Crosby can't be far behind.

Manson sucks. Cheap opportunist with little true authenticity.

19. He sang "Winter Wonderland" with Jessucka Simpson on his
MTV holiday special. He was getting pissed about singing it too. Said something like "I don't want to sing Sleigh Bells ring are you f***ing crazy?"

but you won't let those robots defeat me
oh Christmas Tree they don't believe me
but you won't let those robots eat me

those evil-natured robots
they're programmed to destroy us
she's gotta be strong to fight htem
so she's taking lots of vitamins
'cause she knows that it'd be tragic
if those evil robots win
i know she can beat them

16. That almost looks like Scott Weiland of
Velvet Revolver & Stone Temple Pilots. How eerie...considering they had/have drug addictions (both of them right? Or just Weiland)

24. Marilyn Manson AND Eminem Sing Christmas Classics (Explicit)
You know, if these guys would do these tired old songs in their own artistic interpretation, it might be the only Xmas music I would consider listening to. I would buy it at any price and play it to save my sanity as the only known antidote to the tired old shit they will force on us yet again this year to turn our brains to mush and make us comsumer zombies.

If I hear ONE MORE tired old jazzy improvization of one of those tired old songs, I WILL SCREAM! I WILL RAPE AND KILL!

Last time I gave a pass to an Xmas carol was a parody "Walkin' 'Round in Women's Underwear" for, you know which one I mean.

Mr Manson , Mr Eminem -- hear us and give us an anti-Christmas album!
