...any suggestions?

Also, what does the "v" in "yvr girl" stand for?

I don't care about the "y" or the "r." I'm just a little curious about the "v."

And finally, if you were in one of those really bad 1950s black & white sci-fi movies, riding a really fake-looking rocket to the moon (and think carefully before you answer)...WHO would you have on the rocket WITH YOU?

Thanks in advance,

I don't know for sure, but I think the V may stand for Vancouver. I stole it from the airport.

For a rocket ride, it would have to be you or Neil Armstrong.

Edited on Tue Nov-23-04 01:06 AM by Bush_Eats_Beef
I mean, he's great on that bike and all, but if you're going to be traveling all those miles to the moon and back, you want someone who can keep you entertained. Someone who won't ask you cheesy questions like "So...come here often?"

Of COURSE you don't come here often! It's the MOON!

Some guys really speak before they think. I, on the other hand...well, you get the picture.

I'd shorten that list if I were you.

39. I only said "entertained"
If you need to be "entertained, amused and stimulated" we either have to pick a longer flight or I've got to start scaling myself back NOW.

Or you could be "highly" entertained, "mildly" amused, and "slightly" stimulated...any combination of the above, actually. It's a sliding scale and I'm a gentleman.

Just don't ask me to juggle with anything breakable, do mime routines, or recite dramatic recitations from the collected works of Tom Clancy.

Everything else is fair game and up for grabs.

Can you juggle the collected works of Tom Clancy? You're the entertainer - what's in your act?

The question is, is who is doing the grabbing?

Can I juggle the collected works of Tom Clancy?...HMMM...I can see that yvr girl is accustomed to getting what she wants, or at minimum, making lemonade from lemons...VERY admirable.

And yes, I am the entertainer on the flight to the moon, but I assure you, it is not an act...

Regarding your final question, I can only provide you with this link:

Simple, straightforward guidelines for utilizing good manners in situations such as "grabbing."

http://stepbystepcc.com/manners2.html

*Please and Thank You
*If you were the only person in the world, you wouldn't need manners. But there are lots of people in the world, and good manners help everyone get along together.
*When we ask for something we say "Please",
*When someone gives us something, we say "Thank You".
*At lunch time, we know we wash our hands and sit up straight at the table.
*And we know that its not polite to talk with our mouths full.
*When we play together, everyone has a good time when we share, and are polite to each other.
*When we are playing with our friends, it is not polite to whisper about someone who is near by, because it might hurt their feelings.
*It is not polite to interrupt someone who is trying to talk.
*Everyone likes a person who has good manners. Good manners make you a person who is nice to know.
*What should you say if you walk in front of someone? You say "Excuse me"
*Moving over so someone can sit down is called? "Sharing"
*When you ask for something you say....."Please"
*When you receive something you say...."Thank You"

We say pardon me when someone bumps into us.

The real trick is to figure out what I want. Then I'd be really impressed.

I'm looking forward to being entertained. Blast off!

I'll be sure to remember my pleases and thank you's during any grabbing situations.

49. The secret of men and all you need to know
...and with this one I'll say good evening:

"The real trick is to figure out what I want. Then I'd be really impressed."

1). Some men aren't motivated to "figure out" what women want. They assume that if they just show up and let the monkey out of the cage, everything else will just fall into place.

2). What these men don't realize is that the only for a guy to really "impress" a woman is by giving her what she wants. That means taking the time to figure that out.

But...to quote our beloved president..."that's a lot of hard work."

But that's OK for me, because I'm a hard working guy. And it's not work if you love what you're doing.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go make sure there are enough microwaveable egg rolls in the space ship galley for a trip to the moon and back.

TRUST ME...it's a L-O-N-G ride back from the moon if you've run out of egg rolls.

did I, or for that matter, anyone, ever even mention you were even close to evil? But at times, no energy to say it.

I don't think by the early twenties a guy should be exhausted in fighting for what's right, especially if it hasn't been all that much.

If I had only limited time to say anything it would be:

-Love one another
-Play guitar
-Make sure the next President has sideburns
-Don't put my tombstone somewhere that will attract drunks.

I meant it in this manner... I'm a shy guy at first, but I am very intrigued by you...I reply to your posts...and you reply...and I reply and try to be witty (you know, impression and all that?) and I use the wrong words and that's it. To me, aggressiveness means pursuing somebody for something the want, as opposed to aggression, which is an act of violence...

I have no idea about all your other posts here, I'm just conveying my personal experience.
