so it turns out she likes me, too |
|
about a week ago, in a drunken state, i wrote of the pain of being in ove with my best friend and not being able to tell her.
well, i found out last night from a mutual friend that she feels the same way and thought i had no interest in her
so tonight i took her out to dinner and finally told her how i felt. it went pretty well. so i guess we're kind of going to start going out.
of course, now i have the fear that we'll ruin what we have between us, but i think it's a necessary risk

|

But I am so happy for you!

By complete accident, I fell for my best friend over the summer.
Although I don't want to lose a special friendship, I am willing to pursue a relationship, and don't know quite how to tell them.
Meanwhile, I just ponder the possibility and flirt with them when I can.
(very subtlely)

6. Give me their email and I will tell them. |

"To whom it may concern: A good friend of yours likes you the way fish like water. You should date this person because they are hot or have a pulse. I am writing this because they are shy, in a coma or have been kidnapped by Christian fundamentalists and are currently being reprogramed to like Bush. Please find this friend and mate with them for life. Sincerely, A Total Random Stranger."
Or is that weird?

Losing the friendship is bad, but the regret is invariable worse.

Most of my best female friends (I'm a straight male) have been very popular.
So, good for you! I hope it goes well. Supposedly, it is the best kind of relationship one can have. Which may explain why so many people avoid it

hopefully it goes as well i pray it will. suddenly makes the dubya-dominated U.S. look a little less depressing for me., which we both sorely need, if nothing else.
