Any DUers DVD Burning gurus? I got a weird problem...
bought a CD/DVD burner a couple weeks ago (IDE/ATAPI internal, Toshiba brand)...made a couple DVDs using +R discs successfully but now I can't make one that works. Have made about 20 'coasters'...have absolutely no problem making CDs but whatever it's doing to the DVD discs (it's obviously 'burning' -something- onto them, you can clearly see the color difference afterward)...but there doesn't seem to be anything readable.
Either video or data. It's driving me bonkers....any ideas? Thanks

1. Are the discs the same as the successful ones?
I'm wondering if you might have a batch of bad discs.

3. Step One: Get rid of "Easy CD Creator" application.
Step Two: Download Nero 6 Ultra:

Step Three: Burn, Baby, BURN!!!

5. The drive came with Nero...not sure what version but it's pretty new and
that's what I've been using. (I do have Easy CD Platinum on the computer but it doesn't recognize the drive..) could that be causing some kind of conflict? :eyes:

7. It could definitely cause a conflict. ..
I've found that Easy CD and Nero do not get along well on the same system.
