Any name-changers suffering "buyer's remorse"?
I have disliked my original username from day 1. (I joined on a whim after lurking for about a week, and on the day I signed up I was consumed by the thought that Bush was simply too fucking stupid to actually be the President.) I really appreciated the opportunity to change my name without having to start over at zero posts.

1. Nope
Names are a big deal to me. Nobody has the right to define you, except you yourself - which is why I chose my name IRL too. My original username here was from another aspect of my life (sci-fi/RP), and was simply the first thing I thought of when I signed up. I've used it in various places, as it's very appropriate for me - but it never really seemed suited to this particular forum. I've even bugged Skinner about how I might possibly change it. So when the opportunity came along, I jumped on it. :)

2. I just changed mine yesterday, before it was too late.
Not that it's a big deal, but when I originally signed up, it was like the second or third time I was at the site, and I had no idea how much I'd love this place, and didn't know I'd come here constantly. My original was my eBay username that I created 5 or so years ago, just to keep it simple. But after being here awhile, I wanted to change to a name that actually had meaning...

BTW, mine is Swahili for "Knowledge Seeker" - I wanted "Truth Seeker", but a certain rap artist Talib Kweli already had it, and I didn't wanna rip him off...
