Worst album covers by successful artists.
This could all be about The Cure of course, as Exhibits A,B and C prove.

21. i've actually always kind of liked "the dreaming" cover....
but the one with the psychedelic swans flying from between her legs is terribly disconcerting.

two below. one from a not-so-accomplished artist and one from a charming band that had a few hits.

The Cure have been parodying themselves since the release of "Mixed up"

They are silly people--Morrissey once described them as "a new dimension in crap"...but, of course, if you look at him now, he isn't in such a great position either, legacy-wise

just plain bizarre-exactly like beck. it gets a regualr mention on best of cover lists, too

beck found the image when going through a book on dog shows. he found the photo endlessly hilarious and couldn't stop laughing at it

that no doubt one's fuckin' tacky, though

and n sync's cover matches the shiity content of the music

Here's where '80s psych album covers went horribly wrong: The Three O'Clock.

They couldn't afford Rick Griffin, but luckily one of their girlfriends had a design class at LACC.

Frontier records spent more on cover art for China White, for fuck's sake.

Molly Ringwald had a band? Who knew?
