My 75 y.o. Dad was on the news today
He was back at ShopRite for the 4th time today (he keeps forgetting stuff or getting the wrong stuff but I think he likes to go back for the free bakery samples!)
ABC News was interviewing shoppers and this was my Dad's funny interview:
They asked him "Who annoys you most at the holidays?" He said "My wife, of course."
They asked "Well, are you seperated?" and he replied "Yea, she's in the den and I'm in the living room."
Their last question was "How do you get company to leave when you've had enough of them?" and he said "I go in the living room, put on the TV and fall asleep."
One great thing about getting old is you tell it like it is and don't care much what people think.

1. My dad has a great way of getting rid of company
At holidays, he'll get up and say, "If you're spending the night, it's time to get your payamas on, and get ready for bed. Everyone who's not spending the night--- good night and don't forget to give your mama a kiss!".

6. My old man is cool.
he's very friendly in the way he says it, and either hugs or kisses everyone right after, but since we know Dad, we also know he is serious as a heart attack.
