I'm at college in NY and my friend/roommate invited me to her home in Massachusetts, so we're driving up there tonight.
The break from school is too short to fly home to California, but I'll be going home in about two weeks after Thanksgiving anyways. :)

4. Found our family is celebrating at my Brothers...... |
|
he has two neo-con asshole sons, so i am thinking about (checked into) working the holiday and skipping the dinner altogether. just have no appetite to eat around their smug little faces and the wives........don't get me going. somehow a woman who is pro-bush sickens me more than anything.....this is going to take more time before i can go around the repugs, even if nothing real is discussed. (everyone now has to play what i call "patty-cakes" to avoid major shouting matches)

Last year, for the first time, my eldest daughter wanted to have the Thanksgiving dinner in her spanking new home. Thus the birth of a new tradition.....I bring the Turkey and play with the grandkids while the kids cook, we gorge ourselves, and the next two days I buy all the Xmas presents for the grandkids and ....I AM DONE!
Two hour car ride each way but what the heck...

9. Celebrating early on Wed. night at the store.... |
|
Daisy's staying home to cook, and I am working the afternoon and then going home to get her and help her carry all the food out to the car.
Then back to the store to celebrate with my employee Chuck. May even make plates of turkey for the customers.....

13. Well, I am sort of traveling. |
|
I'm going to my son's house and he lives about 70 miles from me, so it is sort of a trip.
