So how many are going to join the madhouse? |
|
How many of you are going to join the madhouse Friday? There is no way anyone can get me to buy on that day...... people are rude, wild and just our of control. I'm sure the pukes will be out in numbers!!!!!
I won't even go to a supermarket, no way, I am not even going to drive that day.

I've avoided this ritual like the plague so far, and I'm not about to start now that I've decided to starve the beast. Even if this mission fails and the fundies & 'pugs turn out to create a record sales day, my bank account will thank me for not buying a bunch of crap nobody needs.

I never shop the day after Thanksgiving. We might spend money on pizza, so my in-laws don't have to cook, but shop? No way!

6. Join the Boycott -- BND! |

On "Buy Nothing Day" agree to buy only those necessities such as fuel oil or the like and refrain from all other purchases.
BND is this Friday, Nov. 26th.

7. Not the busiest day of the year for our store |
|
but (hopefully) a busy day for us. We count on the holiday season - during the summer we lose money. This xmas and valentines will be the final factor in deciding whether to keep going with the store or give up and find something else to do.
I really hope people get come out this year. No crowds (mostly) or rude people at my store..... for some reason, people find it hard to be rude with a 12" superdong in their hand...

8. Lucky me, I have to work in the madhouse. |
|
The joy of a job in retail. There are no holidays. There are only "Big Sales!"
Damn greedy fucksticks I work for are even starting the fun two hours early, so the truly psychotic don't have to stand in line too long.

9. No way I will open early |
|
We don't open until noon, but we're open to midnight and I have to cover that shift 3 days most weeks (like today).
I feel for ya - I would much rather be here on my butt behind the register than on my feet at the mall....
