and will not wait until Thursday. I'll be by myself so it doesn't really matter when I fix it -- why wait when I am by myself?
This year is the most difficult Thanksgiving ever, my children work and they are my only family. I have friends but from previous experience I'd rather be by myself since this is a family holiday. Just feel out of place with a friend who has a house full of relatives. Call me weird but I am just uncomortable with a house full of strangers.
I really do miss the holidays from the past.
This is going to be a crappy holiday between the election and being by myself -- everything should be really peachy! So, it is me and my two buddies, my two doggies who will share the day with me. We will be just fine though.

1. i am going to make some gumbo and drink champagne |
|
rent some videos, and have a blissful and peaceful day all alone. i am not feeling that well, so i begged off the one invitation i was entertaining so i could lay on the couch and veg with my self.
my friend who is from louisana told me how to make a rue...i usually don't make a rue...so this will be my first attempt at making real gumbo, not the gumbo soup i usually make.
is there anything worse than being with strangers on the major holidays? i'd rather be wtih my self.
if i didn't have to work on friday, i might have gone home and let the family drive me nuts :D but i do have to work :D
pamper yourself...think of it as a vacation just for you and your two pals. :grouphug: you will be just fine :hi:
