I have been up since 4AM, sick as a dog with a stomach bug. I have my air conditioner on high (the landlord will love THAT) and it is 30 degrees outside and I have my windows open. I am sweating, and I feel gross:(. I feel dizzy and dehydrated:(. I have a small grocery store in my apt building and I was able to convince the shopkeeper to bring up some crackers, Gatorade and bottled water, since I can't stand to drink from the old pipes right now. I feel better than I did a few hours ago, but not by much. I am so glad that I decided to skip Thanksgiving. The thought of being sick, and in turn, being observed by the freeper family members is not appealing in the least.
Rant Over.

That sucks, being sick like that.
At least you got some Gatorade in you. That's a good thing.
Take care of yourself. Love your daisy avatar, BTW.

Stay still, and just remember that the Presidential election isn't over yet - not by a long shot.
Maybe that'll make you feel better.
Next time you see the family, you might have something very wonderful to gloat about.
Get your rest. Be well.

8. Ugh. That happened to me a while back. |

On the day of the second presidential debate, in fact. I told everybody I knew that hearing George Bush speak about public policy made me throw up repeatedly.
Drink lots of fluids and take care of yourself. That stomach virus sucks.

I am with ya on the Purell obsession. I wash my hands all of the time because I live in a city and never know what nasty germies I come into contact with. Because I do this, I probably catch all of the things that would make my body immune if I were to just not be so vigilant, lol.
After some water and Gatorade, I feel a little better. Plus, it has been an hour since my head has been in the toilet, so that is an improvement.
Thanks to my wonderful DUers. I will not look at any photos of Bush. He makes my stomach churn and my blood boil. Ugh.
