3. God, yes.
As a kid ALL THE TIME I got "you look like Valerie Bertinelli."

And I guess I did.

(As a teenager I still got that one a bit, but she was kind of waning in popularity by then.)

I was told by someone recently that if I were just a bit thinner, I'd be a dead ringer for Catherine Zeta Jones.

Didn't know if that was a compliment or not.

Edited on Wed Nov-24-04 12:41 AM by NightTrain
In high school, we watched "Harold & Maude" for a class called Techniques of Comedy. Several classmates told me they thought I resembled the 1971-era Bud Cort. Years later, when I started wearing gold-rimmed glasses, some folks opined that they made me look like Gary Burghoff.

Everybody knows Burghoff as Walter "Radar" O'Reilly in "M*A*S*H," but did you know that Bud Cort was in the original film version? Coincidence? I think not!

...I used to get compared to Tom Cruise a lot--which I, all in all, didn't like (he seems like such a clean-cut frat boy type). But I've almost always had short dark brown hair like his and I guess our builds are similar (though I'm a little taller than him).

If I really have to be told I look like someone else (am I not unique and one-of-a-kind??;-) ), I would prefer to be compared to someone a little "hipper."

except in porn video stores but in the eighties, Crystal Breeze and I were dead ringers. I wonder what she looks like now - if we've continued our "twins separated at birth" trend or not. I kid you not, I was having a hard time knowing it wasn't me on the screen. Finally, when we got to the crotch shots, her's looked a little different from mine. It was the freakiest thing. Sure, being told by someone else that you look like ________ is one thing, to see the absolute twin-ness for oneself, absolutely freaky.

82. I was told in college I looked like Meg Ryan
But I think that was mostly because I was thin, blonde and had a tendency toward obsessive-compulsion (this was right when "When Harry Met Sally" came out). :D

89. Unfortunately...
I get the "Rob looks like Michael Moore" comments all the time when I haven't cut my hair recently or shaved. I see the resemblence and as much as I admire the man for what he stands for, that is not the celebrity you want to look like when you're single and can't score a date. :)

But she couldn't remember the star's name. She said she plays hippie types. I have no idea. See me in the gallery and if you know who she meant, please fill me in!

91. Michael J. Fox
I really don't think so but I have been told that more than anything else; especially in high school in the 80's.
