I bought U2's new album today

I don't have the patience to pirate music online anymore. Anytime I download through Kazaa, it takes multiple attempts to get songs. So I broke down and spent the $15.

It's a pretty good CD, IMO. I'm not a big fan of "Vertigo". Whenever I hear that song, I get flashes of that IPod commercial.

I don't know how this compares to some of their older stuff. I'm on the younger side (20) and became a fan after "All That You Can't Leave Behind". The only 80s material I have is a "Best Of".

I'm just now getting through most of the songs for a second listen. Enjoying it so far.

You need to get Achtung Baby, and The Joshua Tree. I think those are widely regarded as two of their best works; Achtung Baby is my personal favorite, but everything they do is so damn good!
