(I recommend the sequel only to true fans who want to continue to follow Bridget's follies ... the script is pretty bad (all my friends are fans of the first and we ALL agreed it was bad, and badly paced), but the acting by the principals is good as in the first).
Also, there's too much repetition from the first movie.
I thought Jacinda Barrett, the Aussie from "The Real World: London," was good as Darcy's colleague.
But, I mean, really. Colin and Hugh in one movie? I mean, it's just got major cutie quotient. So it was worth seeing just to see what happened to Bridge' and the boys.

10. That movie was a reflection of my life at that time... |
|
...and I've always sort of felt connected to Bridget - the obsession with drinking, smoking & eating ... the search for love ... and the sweet, yet overbearing mother and doll of a father. Also, I have a tendency to surround myself with vile fuckwits. I can't wait to see the second one!!
