MEN !! Went shopping last night for a swimsuit for husband, and he bought
Edited on Fri Sep-19-03 05:44 PM by SoCalDem
A SUEDE JACKET....

He ended up with 6 pair of slacks, a belt and a wallet too.. I had to almost beg him to buy 3 pr of shorts and yes,we did eventually find a swimsuit for him.. (for our Tahiti trip in a few weeks)..

He LOVES his new jacket.:) Totally indifferent about the shorts & swimsuit :)

MEN !!!

10. Well, *we* have our likes and dislikes, too.
For some time I would not wear shorts in public; I thought my legs were too skinny and my knees ugly. Finally, a buddy who is about my age convinced me that I am not too old to wear the 'cargo' shorts that the much younger guys like. They cover up my knees, and since I have recently been doing a huge amount of hiking in the mountains, my legs are not so skinny anymore. Now, I dread the weather getting cold again, when I will have to go back to long pants.

So maybe your husband just doesn't want to wear shorts??? I dunno.

11. He just HATES clothes shopping..
Edited on Fri Sep-19-03 07:29 PM by SoCalDem
If I said "Lets go to Sear and look at tools", he would burn a path in the floor and would spend hours ogling tools..

I spend a lot of time returning stuff because he refuses to shop for himself, and yet complains when I bring home something he does not llike ..

I must admit, I have spoiled him.. I don't think he has shopped for anything other than socks in 33 yeras..:)

13. I have the opposite problem.
And I really should have a yard sale, or donate somewhere. My closets are packed with clothes, many of which I don't even wear anymore.

But I like to shop the Home Depot places, too!

16. The woman who says "Let's go to Sears and look at tools" without
wanting hubby to rip out the old kitchen floor and replace it with Mexican tile would be the perfect woman.

Men don't shop. We go out and buy things.

18. I tiled my whole house except for our bedroom
I cut up and removed the carpet myself, and hired the guy to lay the tile.. He turned out to be somewhat of a slacker, so I ended up doing most of it myself..

I LOVE my tile floors :)

My husband did ZERO of the work :):)
