Is it just me, or are there more police cars, ambulances, and/or fire engines with their sirens blaring these days?
I've just about reached the tinfoil-hat stage of believing that THEY do this deliberately to keep us all on edge...

My husband I discussed this the other night, We are now Ultra sensitive to hearing planes when they go over our house and such. Kind of makes my skin crawl.

I grew up in the neighborhood of an air force base. Now I live in the flight path from Logan Airport. That I'm used to.
It's the sirens, and what the sirens represent. If there's a fire truck going by, does that mean there's a fire? Or is Somerville experiencing a rash of false alarms-- which implies a whole different sort of civic breakdown?
