I know it's a trait favored by the "dark side," but I just go there too easily now. And it's gotten worse since 2000. Much worse.

Also, I find that as soon as I orient my attention on the outside world, I get angry about what's happened to our country. Under the circumstances, it seems appropriate, but it's not a healthy emotion to carry all the time.

I will never understand how freepers stay so perpetually angry even when they have things going their way! They're always pissed off about some perceived infringement on their guns, or their public religious icons, etc. Their constant outrage -- even as we bomb the bejesus out of Iraq and watch our freedoms evaporate here at home -- never ceases to amaze me.
