2. It's a tie between the video for "Schism" and a circular saw.
I love those crazy aliens, but I also love cutting rebar with a circular saw...

7. Best tool I ever bought
You can do serious damage inside the house and then go outside and trim the trees. I thought I would kill myself with a chain saw so this was a great option. 18 volt Battery operated of course-

13. Do I have to have only one???
Thats much too hard. How about the ones I can't live without...

Lets see: Angle grinder, sawzall, welders. Cordless drill, lathe, vertical mill (drill press when it isn't working). Vernier caliper (have several, with digital readouts that switch from inch to metric at the press of a button)

My personal "favorites" (covet the most) are all measuring tools. They are ones I don't often reach for, but love them for their accuracy. (things like the dial indicator that resolves 50 millionths of an inch, actually used it for that purpose only once, gauge blocks, that are accurate to less than one millionth of an inch, and have surfaces so flat that they stick to each other thru molecular attraction)

Things I reach for often include assorted BFH's (4 lb engineer's hammer, 16lb real sledge), my tap and die set, and various bike specific tools. Various sorts of crowbar.

Things that people don't usually have, but are so handy and cheap, I don't understand why not: Transfer punches. (stick them in a hole, and accurately mark the center you have to drill, so that the two holes line up) Easy-outs (for when you break off a stud). A "come along" - lever operated cable hoist.

Oh yea: How many clamps does one person need? A: Just two more...

Machines I really wish I had... More varieties of welder (have stick and gas, want MIG, and eventually TIG). A knee mill (instead of the round column thing that loses registration every time you run out of range with the quill). If cost and space were no object, a water jet and/or laser cutter. A forklift. 10 foot ceilings in the shop. Three phase electrical service. another 2,000 sq ft of shop space. A couple of tons of steel and aluminum stock to pick from.
