Okay, who else has have some REALLY weird dreams these past

2 months.

Just got off the phone with a friend of mine who told me about a "crazy" nightmare he had. He said it started out normal he dreamed he came home from work and made dinner for his wife and child. He had CNN news on and all of a sudden the picture was gone. He began flipping the channels and they where all off the air then the picture came back and on EVERY channel was FOX news. They said the President would be speaking from the oval office soon. In the dream his wife and child got home and were in the kitchen with him. The President was then shown and he basically said: You couldn't be happy with the illusion of a won election. Some of you insisted on counting votes. I have no other choice but to dissolve any and all offices now held by Democrats and place a 6pm curfew. Everyone will be required to attend religious study classes on saturdays....(etc he couldn't remember all of it.)

Anyways he clicks the TV off and says something like this is FUCKED UP.
He and wife start to talk about everything they heard and noticed outside a Black Van with a HUGE Gold cross on it up the block and four men in white suits holding bibles in one hand and automatic riffles in the other hand.

Suddenly the door is broken down and a swat team surrounds my friend and his wife. They said they were under arrest for speaking ill of the President and his policies. My friend demanded to know how they knew what they were saying and his child said. I called the number I was taught in school. Anyone who speaks badly about president Bush or misunderestimate(like Bush says it) should be re-educated. He screamed and shot up in bed.

SO anyone else was to share any dreams?

1. I have had quite a few really strange and vivid dreams

since the election. In the most recent one, I dreamed I was in a giant art gallery. Instead of paintings, there were all these different sized mirrors in elaborate frames. When I went to go look at them, all the mirrors had plaques beneath them, just like paintings in art galleries do to tell the viewer the title and artist.

But instead of a title, the plaques held all kinds of different quotes from right-wing preachers and politicians and pundits - they were all the worst kinds of things these people say about nuking Muslims and giving gay people AIDS and hating liberals and everything. And each mirror had a quote and a name of some famous right-wing person under it. So you could look at the right-wing "painting" but really you were just looking at yourself.

Clearly no need to think hard about the symbolism in this one. :-) It was one of the most vivid dreams I've had in years.

2. well, here goes.....

I set my alarm early and then listen to NPR for a while...and since I don't have a job to go to right now (thank you outsourcing) I will drift off to sleep again..and I start having these strange dreams..which turn out to be the news bleeding into my subconscious!

LOL...sometimes these things are just human interest stories, or Diane
Rheim if I am sleeping too late...but they get pretty weird. Then when I hear the news again later, I realize that the dream was just thenews running in my head.


I think I am too scared to dream about outcomes..the fears are too deepseated. I am considering putting a lock on my library door though

4. I've been shooting up in bed a lot since Nov. 3rd myself

it really takes the edge off. Just gotta remember to keep my lit cigarettes over the tin foil...

5. I have a recurring dream of flying,

and landing in a swimming pool filled with chicken soup.

Someone told me it was a dream of overcoming and healing. I just think maybe I have a screw that needs a turn.
