I keep hearing about gmail invites and I can't seem to find a simple explanation of what this is all about. Could briefly explain? or give a useful link?

6. It's an e-mail service run by google, that allows 1Gb of storage,

and has a convenient style of managing e-mails.

9. The best parts are

It saves your sent messages automatically, which allows me to email my handler the latest freelance web design work I've done and access it myself without having to forward it to me. *small thing, yes, but convenient - I'll never lose it until I delete it* and it tracks message threads.

The 5 MB per attachment limit is nice too, up to 10 MB per email.
