Worst line from any song ever?
Though I know the competition's fierce, that as long as the records of the band called America aren't rounded up and buried in a North Dakota missile silo that there will always be debate, that "Yummy Yummy Yummy I've got love in my tummy" creates a pain that will never dissipate--
still, I go with Nancy Sinatra: "You keep lying/ when you should be truthin'" And thank you A&E for reminding me of the song every day with the @$##$%##@$ relentless Growing Up Gotti promos!

Yours? Remember: The pony she named Wildfire/ busted down and stalled
(Ducking, hiding, running away FAST! (me, not Wildfire)):D

24. I don't think so

In fact I kind of like most of the sentimental ballads (60/s and 70's) that got the poo-poo on this thread. I don't think they're great muiscal works or will revolutionalize culture, but they reach people emotionally one way or another which is more than I can say for lots of later music.

But then I'm an old guy.

19. Lobo's "Me and you and a dog named Boo"
God awful bubblegum music from a band I doubt many ever heard of, remember or really care to remember.

Take a peek at this:

Me and you and a dog named Boo
Travellin' and livin' off the land.
Me and you and a dog named Boo
How I love bein' a free man.

:wtf:

the worst lines ever. 'I gave her the ring; she gave me the finger'

"They" is plural. "A liar" is singular.

If he wasn't dead already, I'd kill Jim Morrison for that atrocity...
