Had me some today with pepper vinegar.
My momma use to wash her fresh greens in the washing machine. A couple of rinses, a light spin and they were ready for the pot.

4. Any kinda greens. I love 'em. |
|
They don't always love me back, but they're SO TASTY! I like mine wilted in hog fat with onion, garlic, and plenty of crushed red pepper. Served up with vinegar. And preferably with some beans and cornbread closeby. :9

...live in a red state, eat like a red state <snork> Seriously, aren't collards part of a mix called "greens" ? It's a lovely and tasty dish. Like antipasto, for my Nor'easter pals :)
