I just realized I'm getting close to 1000
If I can continue to think of things to discuss, I should be able to make 1000 tonight.

Now wouldn't that be a special Thanksgiving?:7

1. Here's some questions you could answer
Make each one a seperate post and you'll make it to 1000!

1. What did you do today?

2. What kinds of foods did you eat?

3. Do you think it would be effective if there was a consumer boycott of stores that support Bush, like Home Depot?

4. How do you handle casual remarks about Bush's policies that you know are based on false information?

5. Do you have any good ways for liberals to get their message heard more effectively?

6. What is your opinion of alternative energy?

7. Have you got a place to hide out in case of economic collapse/fascist oppression?

8. How can we best change the direction our country is going?

9. Could an empahsis on innovation and renewable resources keep the US in the running economically?

10. How long do you think it will take you to reach 2000 posts?

I tried to make these questions varied. Hope the intrigue you enough to answer some and make your goal!

4. 3. As much as I would love for boycotting
to work, I do not think it is effective for large stores such as HD. My husband and I have boycotted several establishments in the past, and not a single one has gone out of business. But I know we at least feel better for not feeding the beast.

5. Well I may not be able to get to 1000 tonight
the turkey is hitting me hard and I am fading fast.

4. I always try to get the person to tell me where they got their info and then I will tell them the truth and print off the facts and give to them to read. I live in NC surrounded by southern baptist repubs so the info I try to share usually falls on deaf ears.

6. 5. That's a hard one that I have been pondering since the
campaign. I just don't know. Sometimes I think our message is good but the GOP is just better with smear and fear tactics. Then sometimes I think, damn we need to try harder. I also place blame on the "liberal" media.
