7. Never saw the appeal of Clark UNTIL I recently saw GWTW again |
|
and paid closer attention to the scene where he's drinking and waiting for news of Scarlet, who just miscarried. He looks a little worn and gruff, and veeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrry appealing.

9. Clark (Rhett) at his best |
|
The drinking scene is a good one.
Check the scene where he leaves Scarlett at the bridge to go on to Tara alone, while he goes to fight the last battle. Shirt sleeves rolled up, skin slightly glistening, he takes Scarlett for a kiss...
sigh!
The only contemporary actor who comes close is George Clooney. But the romantice movies he's been are to lightweight. He's better in dramatic roles.

May have to migrate to bed and the down comforter to watch the rest though.
I'm all turkey'd out now...

11. But Melly covering for Scarlet was good stuff... |
|
"Well, aren't you the cool one Melly."
Geez, how many times did Melly cover her butt? Scarlett could never have been Scarlett without Miss Melanie.
