6. outshouted is right. but he didn't deserve it |
|
not this time anyway. trump sometimes fires based on prior history. this time, the women shouted at each other and trump said they were clobbering andy, which was totally bogus (or else terrible editing).
so at least, trump's stated reason for firing andy was idiotic.

Andy wasn't being "clobbered"--he was waiting to see if the women (who were shouting over him) would calm down. I've been in business 20 years and if anyone had acted like those two women did in a meeting they would have been ordered from the room. I've noticed that Trump really likes it when the women act like stereotypical shrews or tramps.
I really hate the apprentice this year. I would never work for Trump-- I've been exposed to too many capricious managers to ever want to work for one again.

18. The whole show 'Apprentice' is staged. You bet it was editing. |
|
There's nothing real about that show. Even the office is a Hollywood set.

On Survivor, Leeann got voted out in a surprise power play, leaving Amy (who had immunity, and who has been the dominant player) with an eroded base, as Chris (the only guy), Twila, Scout and Elize have formed an alliance...!
We got to meet some friends and relatives---how come I didn't realize Amy is gay??? I knew Scout was, but cute Amy the barista? Who knew. (Girlfriend seems nice but what a schnoz on the poor girl).
On the Apprentice, Andy got the boot. Well deserved.

7. AND posed for Playboy - |
|
"---how come I didn't realize Amy is gay?"
Either because of editing or her choice not to talk about it on-show. I've been waiting for someone to bring it up but haven't heard a thing.
=========================================== "Survivor" contestant Ami Cusack is giving 'em plenty to talk about. Not only did she once appear nude in Playboy magazine, she's presenting herself as one of the show's first "out" lesbians.
CBS knows a hyping point when it stumbles onto one. To quote its release: "When CBS announced the new 'Survivor: Vanuatu, Islands of Fire' lineup a few weeks ago, several of the contestants caused a stir, including 31-year-old Ami Cusack - one of the show's first 'out' lesbians. While the plucky Cusack may be a newcomer to the Ring of Fire - she's no stranger to the bikini". In 1996, the Denver barista modeled swimsuits for Venus swimwear and was featured in a nude Playboy magazine pictorial."

now, does anyone really care about the apprentice and survivor? What happened to real TV. Want reality? 4 people in my department were "downsized" 4 months ago. I'm the only one left (survivor?). In two weeks the 5 people in our switchboard will be "downsized." No one voted them off the job, no one had to swallow snail semen to keep their job, some corporate fuck decided he/she wanted their benefits dollars in his fat fucking wallet and simply disappeared the job.
Want to know what is wrong with America, Watch reality TV. Want to save America, turn off the fucking TV and get involved.

13. Watching "fucking tv" and getting involved are not mutually exclusive |
|
Remember, you have no idea what's going on in our lives.
I'm rather proud of the fact that I had no clue what a barista does. That's one corporate entity I have managed to avoid...like Wal Mart.
But thanks for the information just the same.

watch tv and have fun. Sorry to hear about your woes, but some of us deal with stuff like that thru harmless tv fun. To each their own!

guilty pleasure -
gave up smoking, drinking and even better 60's habits so if I don't want to eat myself into oblivion I have a few fav stupid tv shows to lose myself in once in a while, just to have a break from worries.
Involved, I am, but not 24-hours daily or I'd go completely bonkers.
ps - my super-tech geek husband is also out of work since last March and on top of that in his mid 50s so I do share your anger. Plus, this is his second layoff in 3 years - not because he's not good, because he's GREAT - but because the first company was bought out by foreigners who then "downsized" all of their US employees, and the second company decided to "oursource" it's entire IT group.

Every woman who's ever tried out for the Apprentice has sucked. They are either dumb, useless, or just use their boobs and ass to get ahead.
They might as well try out to be strippers for all they add to the show.
I was rooting for Andy to win the whole thing, now I'm rooting for Kelly.
The woman can all go to hell as far as I'm concerned, especially Ivana. They add nothing to the show.
And Trump is a dork, his reasons for firing people often make no sense at all.

14. Hey Rat - You can cheer for Kelly all you want - SPOILER ALERT... |
|
The final two are both women.
And it should also be noted that Jennifer is a Harvard Law grad, Ivana is a successful venture capital investor and Sandy is a real estate investor who owns a successful event planning company.
It should also be noted that there isn't a physically unattractive MAN in the bunch. Maybe that's why they used their asses to get ahead in the challenge involving gay male restaurant employees.
