Anyone else feel like going on a crying jag for no reason?
Everything is making me cry today...commercials, DU threads, the movie Apollo 13.

desperate. It's a really tough time of year, in general-- in addition to the election which makes it even tougher....the Molly Ivins column I read today saying things would be getting even worse made me feel better...oddly. Just seeing someone with fight in print made me feel less alone....

2. I was that way a couple days ago
My husband doesn't go on crying jags, but he has premonitions. He feels like something bad will happen soon. Last night, I dreamed a big airplane came down in the suburbs of some large city and strafed the houses. All power was turned off in the buildings. It was a US city, not NY or LA-more like it was in the middle of the country. I hope to heavens my dream does not come true.

4. I've been having a bad feeling lately, too
I've had some odd precognitive dreams in my life, which always have the same sort of "tone" to them, if that makes any sense. I know that they're not ordinary dreams when I'm having them, and they stick in my head very clearly afterward. I had one a few weeks ago...and now I can't remember what it was...which is very unusual for me, and doesn't seem like a good sign. Like it was so awful I blocked it. Damn. Wish I kept a dream journal. (Seems I'm not the only one thinking this, looking at the lounge right now.)

17. I understand exactly what you mean
I've had precognative dreams, and dreams with messages, which I take seriously. Their tone is far different from the typical dream.

If you are a spiritual person, do your practices, and get ready for something to happen. This is my feeling.

24. I've been neglecting my spiritual practices for a week or so.
It pulls me out of depression, and gives me energy to be able to try to encourage other people. But lately I've been giving in to depression.

Just re-disciplining myself again since yesterday. It brings up my life force, if that isn't too corny sounding, but its the truth.

I've been having a hard time, especially after I read in GD and LBN here. Man I was a mess this morning after one thread. Crying and shaking. Maybe I need to stop reading. But hiding under the covers isn't the best solution either....

I feel very scared and worried and don't know what to do to protect ourselves. I knew the smirk was bad bad news right from the start.

25. Spiritual practices
always uplift me, but it does take effort. Keep it up, whatever practices you do, and tune into the flow of your fellow travelers who are doing the same thing.

3. I had my moment
earlier today, It's my mum's birthday. She passed away 7 years ago. It seems like yesterday.

Please people, get screened for Colon Cancer. It is easily cured when caught in time. Early detection saves lives. ( And having a good Dr. helps. She had neither.)

times are rough for a lot of folks I think. Tears help, but ... if it's more than tears, and it's a feeling of hopelessness, perhaps it's time to seek some help <-- just a general comment :)

sincerely

AuntAgonist.

6. My youngest girl (3yo) has so much love for me she makes me cry.
Now she's become my "mother". I am to babble like a toddler, and she "buys" me "gifts", makes me "food", puts me to "bed"...

It's so good it hurts. :loveya:

both my parents and miss them a lot.

the story from Pinko Dirtbag Commie (not necessarily in that order) is really cute! Such a cute sharing doesn't really fit your name.

19. Yeah, that very well could be it
Or part of it, anyway. Due in two days. (For my period, that is, not a baby!!) lol

One of the things that made me cry was seeing Walter Kronkite footage in the Apollo 13 movie...and that's just a clear sign of hormones!

21. I'm pilng up the reasons, but I really haven't yet since Nov 2nd..
this damn is going to break soon. I lost a job and a good friend is hitting the skids. I can't cope with my selfish repug family.
But my hormones are not cooperating, although they are due to kick in any minute now. Until then, I am in denial about everything it seems.
