How Yummy Are Your Thanksgiving Leftovers?
Mmm, I had some leftovers for dinner today. Even tastier the day after. ;) And I had a turkey sandwich last night too.

3. I haven't had a turkey sandwich yet. It's my favorite, too.
So far, I have had two "extra" thanksgiving meals. Our turkey this year was yummy (brined, massaged, with bacon and parsley puree under the skin, marinated with wine and butter. My daughter's specialty and it makes the best gravy imaginable. My husband's perfect cranberry and orange relish; my cornbread dressing, my older daughter's sweet potatoes w/bourbon and pecans, and her asparagas and pea casserole and her perfectly mashed white potatoes. Gosh the list is endless. I forgot the Waldorf Salad, oh well, the pumpkin pie and pecan pie and pumpkin cake with whipped cream. It's a real pleasure having three grown daughters who have all adopted my recipes and know how to make them. The turkey recipe, however, was not mine; all my "Martha Stewart" daughter, my youngest. She's really good at all she undertakes, but her cooking is superb.

It was nice to have a day off from worrying about the political fiasco and count my blessings. Now, into the fray.

11. I made chipotle mayonnaise
Just chipotle peppers (3 or more) minced up and mixed with a cup of mayo, plus I throw in a spoonful of the adobo sauce from the (canned) chipotles. Good stuff!
