Do you talk to your computer?

I am cracking up over here. Mr. Moonbeam is at his computer desk, here in the office; I am at mine. He has discovered a website called politrix.org and is just loving it.

So every now and then, he'll read out loud just a few words of what he is reading or make a commentary. I hear things like:

"Yeah because the Euro is up."

"Sure, boot camp is FREE, fuckers."

"Hey Moonbeam, I'm gonna email you this picture of bush with a Hitler moustache."

ME: "Uh please don't, I can see it. I don't want the Homeland Security douchebags on my tail."

Him: "FUCK 'em!"

Then there's just the random "holy shit!" proclamations. The random calling out of URLs I should check out. Mumbling about interest rates, etc.

Do you do that? Anyone you know do it? It cracks me up. For the record, I do not. I've heard him talking to the monitor even when no one is in the office with him.

5. Oh yeah..

.. since I do a lot of experimenting with AI for MS Flight Simulator, I like to pretend that I'm the ATCO doing the apporach sector into JFK. Always a bit of a laugh :D

6. Talk to it? Hell I yell at it sometimes.

But then I talk to myself a lot too. Sometimes I talk to people and end up talking to myself because they are staring into some unknown place, probably saying, "Does this guy ever shut up?"

7. I am so glad that my husband

and I are not the only ones like that! He is on one side of the room on his Mac, I am on the couch a few feet away with my laptop and we send stuff back and forth and comment to each other about what we are reading. Pretty soon one of us will get mad because we are both talking and trying to read so we send an angry email! The best part about that is it ends up being so silly that we laugh then go out for lunch or something. Interesting how bad MSM has pushed us into our favorite computer societies and the way it has changed the way people, even people in the same room, communicate. Yes, I am usually screaming at mine because the signal decays and I have to reboot alot. Then of course the usual screaming at dopes who send RW email.

8. Yeah the idea of him sending me an email

with a picture that I had JUST turned around and looked at on his computer screen cracked me up. I laughed at it, then he said "Here, let me email it to you" like I didn't JUST see it.

He's cute, though, what can I do?

10. too funny. I don't think I do...and can I just say

I love that you use the word 'douchebag', my brother and I use it all the time, but I never hear anyone else say that - it cracks me up.

11. It's a true rarity for me

I save it for TRUE douchebags. And obviously I don't use it when the child is in earshot!
