Er... ummm... why do the palms of my hands suddenly itch terribly?
And yeah, believe me, I'd be the first with the masturbation-related jokes to follow this subject line, but that I'm typing furiously in between scratching fits 'cause my palms itch like I've been kneading Owens Corning Fiberglass all day. They don't LOOK any different. I haven't been out picking poison ivy. Haven't petted any strange women. Yet I step outta the steam shower, dry myself off, and my palms are suddenly in relentless itch mode. WTF, man?

Which one of you bastards has the voodoo doll? And could you stop with the itchy palms and get back to that groin thing again? I was kinda enjoying that...

1. I was always told
an itchy palm meant you were going to come into money.

4. Many water-based lubes do that to me too... (& serious advice too)

Try moisturizing cream and hydrocortizone at maximum strength. Good luck!

5. Could be poor circulation
Try rubbing them and doing some light exercise to warm up and get your blood flowing to your extremities.

6. That could be a sign of a food/drug allergy.
May want to think about if you ate or took anything different today.

7. Allergies - try some benedryl
If you're taking niacin for controlling your cholesterol that can make your palms itch too.

Or it could be that you just have dry skin and need some heavy duty moisturizer.

Or it could be the hair beginning to grow.

9. if you think it's fiberglass particles
take a pair of pantyhose and rub your palms with them, (they can be in use at the time, but that will cause more problems), the nylon will pull the fg out of your palms. If it's not fiberglass particles, well, you're on your own.

11. Happens to me a couple of times a year
Doc says it's eczema. Itches like a motherfucker though. I end up rubbing them on my office chair, desk, jeans, whatever I can find. Then they peel really bad for a few weeks, then it's gone.

13. Sheesh, I was plagued by this all last week.
For no apparent reason, my palms (both) itched like crazy, then just stopped for some reason.

14. I went a decade and got scaling, itchy palms - that would become
raw from itching - seems - to my conclusion - anxiety related - once I started to feel my feelings - cry when I wanted - laugh etc - it seemed to go away -

20. No, no.
he never strays too far from me. Sometimes I wish he'd go further, but I realize I've prolly seen him go as far as he's gonna, without monkey-extension surgery, and that's pretty well icky.

18. It's the fiberglass.
Somepeople have terrible reactions to that stuff. Years ago, Mr Belle and I were in a (fiberglass) hot tub and right after, he broke out into hives and had to smear Benadryl all over himself. Not fun. Try some Benadryl cream and that might help. Hope you feel better.

19. There was no fiberglass!
It was a colorful (pink, even) simile. But yeah, the fiberglass SUCKS. I've made the mistake of sitting bare-assed on fiberglass bleachers before, and lemme tell ya, it ain't no fun. And, erm, don't ask.

;-)

21. Money is coming your way!!
When that happens to me, I always receive cash from one source or another soon after...within hours to a couple of days...and no, am not a drug dealer...LOL...but all my life, itchy palms have always preceded receiving money!!
