The sky is blue because the Earth's atmosphere scatters all the colors of the spectrum from the white light given off by the sun. The color that scatters the most is blue, which is why the sky is blue.

2. Chlorophyll, which helps plants synthesize energy from sunlight, water and sugar, is green. When plants die in the fall, the chlorophyll dies, too, and the green fades from the leaves. The colors that remain, red, orange, brown and so on, are what make Fall a beautiful season.

I used to live up on the hill, but the traffic on Meridian is a nightmare. So my wife and I sold our old house and bought a beautiful home in the valley. It's so much better, and I have my own library that I've dreamed of for years. Life has its good moments.
