They (and the cage, food, and bedding) were the only things I bought on Black Friday that weren't necessities. (I had to go to the petstore for food for my cancerous cat, as it has to be easily ground up so that it can pass through her feeding tube. Upon ariving at the store, I was amazed at the low priced mouse house and therefore one must have a mouse (preferably two) to live in said house.)

They are fun, and one even shat on me as she crawled up my sleeve :)

2. ha! We were gonna buy feeder mice originally

you know, since they have a really crummy life expectancy to begin with...but the lady at the petstore said that because they're just feeder mice, they're not too great when it comes to their genetics, so they die earlier and are meaner---not that I can blame them, but I want a cuddly mouse that lives in my pocket and drives a little mouse car and can balance a checkbook with minimal supervision.

and respects me as her owner. I fully intend on waking up tomorrow to find that she has learned several different commands and tricks.

I heard they tame and teach themselves. Industrious little critters, they are! I can't wait for her to clean out her litter corner for the first time :)

6. Oh no! She's way strong

she's been going to town on her little wheel. We decided to take the wheel out of the cage and put it in the driveway. We pinned $5 to her shirt (I made a shirt for her) and within about 30 minutes, she had wheeled herself to 7/11 and back AND got me the right kind of Cigarettes WITHOUT ME EVEN TELLING HER WHAT KIND I SMOKE.
