1. you're not a real liberal
You will be flamed and chastised as consumerist freeper sellout scum, whoring yourself out to RNC-donating corporate asshats, and forced to leave DU.

I bought a kick ass VCR today, so I say fuck 'em!

2. A girl's gotta eat, right?
I don't think it counts. I think it has more to do with that tribute to America's true religion (consumerism), Christmas. Myself, I bought milk for my mother and Chinese for me.

My poor stomach can't seem to handle OJ anymore so strawberries are my vitamin C source... But, hey... coffee and half/half is the breakfast of champions!

4. Shame on you.
You bought food to eat on High Priestess Naomi Klein's assinine "Buy Nothing Day"?

Shame on you.

You have failed the Stalinist ideological purity test.

You will be sent to the gulag for political re-education.

10. My bad
For one thing I didn't know it was "Buy Nothing Day" and secondly I bought a Pink Floyd t-shirt and a Beatles "Abbey Road" t-shirt that were on sale today.

11. I proved once and for all that you shouldn't
grocery shop while you are hungry. Or thirsty for that matter. I am still on something of a fast, and the gatorade in the 'fridge is taunting me. Oh well, only 4 more hours until it is over.
