Should I wake her?

She does this a lot. I always wonder if it's a good dream or a bad one.

1. If you do wake her

Be careful not to startle her. I've had dogs snap at me when I touched them mid-dream. Just say her name a few times.

2. We had a dog that did that a lot

her paws would be moving like she was running after something.

Make enough noice to wake her up, but not enough to startle her.

5. Sarah does that also!! She's always "running"

when she sleeps.

She runs, barks, rolls her eyes, sometimes I think she's awake and she's really asleep!

It seems really cute, but if it's a scary nightmare I don't want to let her suffer cuz it looks cute from the outside.

3. I used to wonder the same thing too

With my one dog - he certainly had vivid dreams - even running in them. I never could decide if it was better to wake him (when I did he always looked disoriented) or "let sleeping dogs lie."

4. With my spoiled dog,

I'm always pretty sure that it's a good dream because her "nightmare" days are when she has to wait until 5:10pm to eat dinner instead of right at 5:00 on the dot. Or the days that she has to get off the bed while I change the sheets.

7. Mine sounds like a video game when he dreams.

He lays there and his feet start twitching like he's chasing something. Then he starts with the sounds. "Whoop, Whoop, Whoop, Whoop." Sounds like a cross between a video game and Curley from the Three Stooges. Knowing Petey, he's probably dreaming about playing Frisbee. He lives for his Frisbee.
