This thread, to me, mirrors the problems within the progressive community, chasing minor goals while the real fixing ain't gettin' done!

Liberal Andy (whose initials, LA, are already anathema to a Northern California guy) changes his avatar and undergoes a personality change as well. Way too fixated on symbolism and internal bickering with Gryffindor over post counts (this smacks of sexual overtones to me), instead of endeavoring to find common ground and noncompetitive and constructive ways to resolve higher issues.

Skinner and company once suggested eliminating post counts altogether and was roundly hooted down, now I'm not so sure he was wrong (and for a Yale guy to be right about something is indeed a striking event).....Much ado about nothing :boring:

However I must add that , amidst the self congratulatory flatulence found here, that post about Civil War Naval ships was fascinating and informative as hell!
