But Ziggy is very good. And "Life on Mars" from Hunky Dory is one of the greatest songs ever.

for his diamond dogs/ ziggy shows at the Syria mosque in Pittsburgh in 1977(?) This was when he did Major Tom from the swinging arm out over the audience, the stage set was at least thirty feet tall, and the show was incredible. One night, I was on his dressing room door, which was just off stage, so I watched the show from the wings. The next night I was stationed on the sound platform- the best seat in the house. I was so into watching the show, I was glad no incidents happened that would have made me work.
It was so well received that he came back at the end of the tour and played the Civic Arena. The show was so much better in the 2500 seat hall.
