I just talked to her to find out how her Thanksgiving went with her repub husband and his repub family.
After the election she was tempted not to go because she would be the only democrat there, but my bro-in-law convinced her that everyone would be civil and not talk politics.
Well, they didn't talk politics but her sis-in-law wore a white sweater with red, white and blue elephants on it. What a bee-yatch! It pisses me off she gloated in such a subtle way.

Sounds like something my sister-in-law might do. Stay away from folks like that.

6. It's too bad your sis didn't beat her to the punch and wear something |
|
similar to the sweater herself. I've had it up to here with Republicans hijacking the flag. I've considered getting a bunch of flag magnets, "Support the Troops" ribbon magnets, and etc. and placing them on my car. ALONG with a DU sticker, and other appropriate Democratic paraphernalia. Let them know they're not the only patriotic ones!
Maybe I'll get to see some Freeper heads explode as I'm driving down the highway! :D

7. She has a really cool Democrat shirt |
|
I told her she should have worn it, but she was being cordial since her husband had said no one would talk politics. Next time she will be prepared!

My brother kindly did no gloating. but he knows I'll leave. Problem? Problem solved! life is way way to short. I did my time in holiday hell when dad was alive, and since I've had the big C-well my tolerance for the shit is at 'Zero'. And had it turned out the other way, I would not have gloated either. That's a bad winner. Which really means-they're losers. They had to cheat and lie to 'win' and they know it.
PS: Not 'subtle' there, either
