Something in my freezer really stinks
I can't find what is causing the smell. It just started smelling yesterday, and now it is stinking up the kitchen everytime I open the freezer. Ugh.

1. It's time to put your
domestic goddess hat on..... Go find it right away! It will permeate all your other food items.

Did you power go off long enough to defrost and you may not of know?

2. Everything is nice and frozen
I've gone through everything and now I'm going to clean inside. I hope that helps. I don't think there was a power outage, because none of the clocks have been blinking.

3. I thought you said "freeper" not "freezer."
And I was going to suggest it was his ideas.

4. LMAO!
That's cute. I think I got it under control. I cleaned the shelf, and it looks like a box of baking soda got overturned. That was probably it.

7. They are in their beds, asleep.
Akira did get under the fridge when we first got him and he couldn't get back out. We live in an apartment, so the fridge is bolted down, and we ended up having to pull him out by his tail. Now they only get to play in the bedroom.

Put a box in the freezer. It really works.

9. I did at one time
and that is what I was cleaning up off of the bottom of the freezer. I think what happened is that the baking soda absorbed all the odors it could, and then it started giving off odors. I got it up, and the stink is gone. I think it is time for a new box.

10. One thing that might help is to make a bowl of water with a lot of baking
soda in it, and kind of wipe down everything in the freezer that you can conveniently touch. Do you have any fish in there?
