anyone have experience with Buspar? |
|
My 27-year-old nephew, who suffers from anxiety disorder, told me that his doc is changing his meds. No more xanax, now he'll take Buspar in its place. He also takes Zoloft and Atenalol.
Does anyone have experience with Buspar? Please tell me your stories.
I'd rather have him get off everything, but until that day is possible, I try to get as much info as possible so we know what's going on.

I don't take anything on a regular basis (except blood pressure pill) but my friend takes Buspar regularly. I had a court deposition coming up that was just driving me over the edge. She told me to take one or two. I did not feel anything like sedation or a woo-woo feeling. The only thing that it did was make me feel less emotional (which I was really needing) and more in control. I really did not feel like I was taking anything and just felt like I had handled everything well. The next day after it wore off I got really mad and irritated and realized that the Buspar must have keep all those feeling under check. As far as I know it is not dangerous drug but to be sure Google it and see what you find.
