1. Has it really been THREE years?
Wow, time flies. It doesn't feel like that long.

(I can still hardly believe it's been 14 years since we lost Stevie Ray Vaughan.)

2. Three years?
Fourteen years?

How is this possible?

Warren Zevon's gone over a year.

Sucks.

5. Damn...three years. I remember it so vividly
like it was last week. I was actually prepared for it though, since there was a false report a couple months earlier (in the summer) on a local Philly radio station that his death was imminent within days. When I heard that, I cried for the first time in years and got really drunk to medicate. But after 9/11, his death was simply a huge Tyson punch in the face to my already numbed mind.

He was probably one of the finest human beings ever to grace pop culture and I still get sad thinking about his early death... Sigh.

6. Oh, I loved George.
Seems like he became more handsome with the years, and then he started looking bad because of the illness. Wonder where he is now, on what plain that is.
