If I ever sell this house, it will only be to a non-white, disabled,
gay or lesbian person with five mixed race children. Or more. And their partner.

One reason:

1. Someone like that's gotta have a hard time buying a house with all the racists and homophobes about.

I'll offer to pay closing costs but only to someone wanting to buy it who is in most of those categories.

Seriously. White non-disabled straights need not apply. Got too many of us 'round here already. Reverse discrimination. Good for what ails ya.

3. I'm straight and non-disabled,
but I'm not white, either. Can I buy, like, one fifth of your house?

5. Hey cool
it'll be like a co-op thing.

But I have to warn you, I live in Texas. You might not want even one-sixteenth of it now.

It just "happened", and it still causes me to chuckle to think about it.

11. it might seem petty but
...in the early 70s my parents had some neighbors who they really did not like. They sold to a gay couple that was otherwise having a time buying with both names on the title. I have an idea they actually settled in OK, because for time, I would drive by the old house on occasion, and they really seemed to keep it up very nice. When we were living there, our mean neighbors actually came by one time and cut some of our plants down!

12. Wow your parents were VERY progressive for the early 70s
weren't they?

A lesbian couple lived on our street when I was growing up. They were both nurses and the NICEST ladies I had ever known. They adored all the kids on the street and got SO into Halloween and Christmas. They even knew when all our birthdays were and gave us presents. We called them Aunt Lisa and Aunt Dot. They had Scottish Terriers that they bred and showed that were beautiful. I have such nice memories of them.
