5. You must live in a warm state
Too dang cold here in Michigan for a bike ride...Besides, last year I joined WW and started biking 32 miles a wk and gained weight..I know, I know, it was muscle.

Left late in the afternoon...Day ride overlapped into a night ride.Great weather,as saw Venus coming out to greet my way home...
Did about 20 miles also...I usually do about 600 a month, plus 4 commutes to work...

8. There's a ride for MS in April and I think I'm gonna do my first century!
Or at least I hope to. Last year I did 150 in 2 days, but I really didn't train for it, and I paid for that. The first day -75 wasn't so bad, but the next day was very hilly, and where I'm from there aint no hills! I was cussing the lack of hills for at least a couple hours.

Today was beautiful. About 80 degrees, with just a little wind. I ride a mountain bike with slicks, so I'm not a speedster. I'm seriously thinking about going to a road bike, but I like the solid feel of my bike under me. It would sure be a hell of a lot easier, because my bike weighs a ton. Today I averaged 13.5, so that's not too bad.

Anyone do any touring lately? I haven't in awhile.

9. Yesterday, Sugar and I took to the pine flatwoods
I love the singletrack, post-hurricanes. The pine needles make my Velociraptors slide to the brink of no return, but Sug, yeah, she brings it back. I'm just there on the seat, along for the ride...

Thanks, Gary, for the geometry.

10. I'm on my steed everyday
Though it was nice today. And with tailwinds, it's fun to sit up and sail. Could never understand those folk who are hunched over, missing the free push. Maybe due to long term fully loaded touring, when I become aware of taking advantage of free rolling.
