Anybody see National Treasure? Very entertaining.
I really like Nic Cage, and I really like the whole tin foil hat thing going on in the movie. Made me feel right at home.

1. Neat movie. I like the sense of history running through it
There were attempts to create more interest in the Declaration, for instance. I liked it.

Disney keeps getting labeled as conservative, but with this movie, with films like Lilo and Stitch and Mulan, with the strong environmental, even anti-development message at many of its Disney World parks, I think there are a lot of lefties involved with Disney. Eisner himself was a big Bill Bradley supporter.

2. I agree.
It was very entertaining and I really love that whole Indiana Jones thing. It was fun to try to figure out the riddles. I think it will do well at the box office.

3. Yeah, I appreciated that it stirred up interest in the founding fathers
People always say history is their least favorite subject. But it is so fascinating, particularly because of its cyclic nature. When I saw it, one of the people there said "Well, that's stupid, Ben Franklin could never invent holographic glasses." But Im sure many of his contemporaries scoffed at the things he did invent. Brilliant, courageous men founded this nation, and now it is in the hands of a jackass who can't defeat a pretzel. People need to realize they deserve better.
