Saw "The Day After Tomorrow" on Pay-Per-View Last Night - It SUCKED!!!
Edited on Mon Nov-29-04 12:34 AM by CO Liberal
The special effects at the beginning were great, but then the plot devolved into a sappy love story, with a couple of guys walking from the Philly area to Manhattan in a -150 degree blizzard.

What a waste of $3.99. We're glad we didn't blow 14 bucks at the theater...

1. I've got to agree with that.
Not only that, but it was sooooooo predictable. I really hated that movie. I rented "Elf" last weekend....now that was just adorable, IMO :)

2. You are lucky, we blew $19 in the theatre
and got popcorn and a soda - oh, and babysitter $. It almost sucked enough to walk out of.

3. I watched it tonight--
it would've been better if I had one of those giant flat screen TV's--

Luckily I'm a 32 year old sappy teenage girl at heart and Jake Gyllenhall is soooo cute it was worth the 3.99- oh, those bassett hound eyes...

6. For a $2.00 rental
I really enjoyed the silly escapism of the whole silly thing.

The moral: against the most oppressive death and destruction, life goes on (even if the story is really stoopid).
