5. I wanted to vote for West Wing |
|
It wasn't up to its previous years' standards, I don't think. The writing is still terrific but it wasn't quite as, I don't know, sharp maybe. I'm worried about the direction this year without Sorkin and Schlamme but it's still one of the top 2 shows.
I have to go with Six Feet Under in spite of weird Nate.

7. Six Feet UNder or The Sopranos will win... |
|
I voted for Six Feet--think it has a slight edge since the Emmy voters are probably feeling guilty over giving it to the West Wing last year, when Six Feet deserved it then.

is the longest running drama since Gunsmoke. They have had their ups and downs, but of all the shows around, it is one of the most realistic. Hopes are high that some of the controversies in re to the Patriot Act will be explored this season. And most rabid fans want FDT, former Senator from TN and apologist for the Shrub, to go or have his character, Arthur Branch, to have a knock-down drag out fight with EADA Jack McCoy, played by Sam Waterston, a gentleman who has quietly supported liberal causes for decades.

9. West Wing is interesting |
|
Even if they do say they will make it more "fair and balanced" this season.

12. I HOPE it's Six Feet Under |
|
I can't remember EVER getting into a show like this. The writing and acting are brilliant. The characters are complex, flawed (in a totally real life kind of way), and completely endearing. God I LOVE this show.
