What should I want for Christmas?
My sister is intent on getting me something. But, I don't really want or need anything. And what I need I can buy myself. I hate this fucking holiday. I made their gift, I doubt she wants to make mine. So what crap should I request that is Made In America and earth friendly and less the 20 bucks?

The only thing I want is a t-shirt:

But, I want to give her some options. So can we think of any cool and cheap things you think I should want.

2. How about a prayer

for Peace on Earth and Goodwill towards Men.

Though that's pretty expensive a gift with the current administration in charge.

4. She would bitch..
It is tough putting a bow on a prayer. I think she enjoys the act of consumption as much as the act giving.

Peace on Earth and Goodwill towards Men is cheap if you buy it in Euros.

3. $25 donation
to www.gregpalast.com

For a minimum donation of $25, get a signed edition of the playing cards, "Joker's Wild: Dubya's Trick Deck" and contribute toward his investigation into the election fraud.

5. Donation in your name
some ideas of groups needing help:

Meals on Wheels in your area

Homeless Shelters/food banks in your area

ACLU, Refugees International, UPJ

or, if you read of a family that is hard up this season due to an automobile accident, a fire, or major illness, ask her to send them money instead of giving it to you.

I have an argument every year with my boss on this issue. He wants to give me some tacky gift certificate, I want him to donate to Refugees International instead.

7. Boycott Christmas
I have told everyone I am protesting my stolen vote and everything sleazy this country now stands for (including the commercialization of Christmas) by not buying presents. Kids will be getting cash for their savings and donations will be made to worthy causes.

At any rate, remind everyone who is a christian that Jesus wasn't born in December any way. :eyes:

8. I'm promoting "Save the Children" this holiday.
If you think she might donate in your name, here's the link.

http://www.savethechildren.org/

90% of the money they raise goes to the children and their projects.
