PITTSBURGH -- Forget the birds, trees, jewelry, laborers and performers.
How about a new Jaguar, a BMW 7 Series, a Mercedes Benz or a 1949 Rolex?
PNC Financial Services says the luxury cars and vintage watch would cost you just as much as all the gifts listed in the Christmas carol "The Twelve Days of Christmas."
The Pittsburgh-based bank does an annual tongue-in-cheek tally of how much the drummers drumming, pipers piping, turtle doves and golden rings would set you back -- if you bought them for your true love at today's prices.
This year, the price tag for all the gifts -- if they were bought repeatedly on each day, as the song suggests, is $66,000, up from $65,000 last year.
Buying each item just once would cost about $17,000.
