The newest outrage from Texas
From the state that gave us Enron and Tom DeLay comes the latest sacrilege. I can't believe it.

It was in yesterdays St. Pete Times. I couldn't find the link today.

What is this latest blasphemy?

Is it the Hunt Brothers? The Bush Family?:puke: Karl Rove?

It's even worse.:wow: Texas A&M University has developed
The unthinkable.

THE MILD HABANERO PEPPER!!!:nuke: It's for people who can't stand the heat, and is about half as hot as a jalapeno.

What will these geniuse come up with next? Something on the line of the Nerf hammer for people who can't hit a nail on it's head.:wtf:

2. If People Don't Want Heat
That's what bell peppers are for. Even here in Texas it's sometimes hard to find a decent jalaeno anymore since the *@#& Aggies developed a heatless one.

5. That's what happens...
when Bushbots take over your state: they bastardize everything that was enticing to begin with.

6. Part of the problem is...
That Texas has been taken over by a bunch of priggish wannabes from other states.

No real Texan would ever bastardize a pepper to make it milder.

And I am dead serious. Sorta. ;-)

7. what a shame

This is blasphemy. As a spicy-anything lover, I am shocked and appauled.

Theres nothing better than setting your mouth on fire...anyone ever try the habanero stuffed olives? Theyre great. I brought some over to a family gathering once. My grandmother ate one thinking it was a regular olive and thought shed been poisoned. However, once I told her about all the supposed health benefits of spicy peppers (shes a hypocondriac), she asks me all the time to bring her more...GO GRANDMA
