The last snow nailed us out of nowhere. Thought it was gonna be like two inches, ended up being somewhere between 6 and 8, 100's of accidents, had to dig out of our back porch to dig out the driveway.

let it snow and stay, I hate when it comes and goes and makes things all slushy and nasty for driving. I vote for below freezing temp and clear skies. But I'm in Michigan.

A whopping six inches of snow during the blizzard of 91. I grew up driving in W. VA and Virginia so I know how to cope with slipping and sliding.
But it was so funny down here in the south. They had no idea how to deal with it. No snow equipment. Traffic just stopped for three days till it melted off. Several cars slid off the road onto golf courses and into embankments. I was bemused.
