2. I wish it was saag pinar
with a side of curried goat, but, alas, it will be spaghetti. (The Indian restaurant is 130 miles away, and we're not feeling well enough for the trip).

19. My Culinary College has 3 Indian Restaurants next door to it
I always stop at the one by the L station and I buy Nan on my way home. They make it fresh and it's hot and good.

8. Roasted root vegetables
I'm not a vegetarian, but I love root vegetables. I'll take some potatoes, carrots, sweet potatoes, parsnips, onions and beets, throw them on a baking sheet drizzled with olive oil and sea salt, then put it in the oven for an hour or so. Makes a delicious meal with a tossed salad.

12. shrimp.
I don't even have a joke to go with it, like we're having oxymorons: jumbo shrimp. Well, okay, I guess I did have a joke, but an old, lame one.

18. I had chicken "ham"...
green salad out of a bag, and fresh bakery French bread.

I'm trying to get out of the habit of eating ham, because my fiance doesn't eat it, but it's been a hard row to hoe so far. (You could say it's given me a lot of "'s trayf"... \ducks

In any case, it was the closest approximation to real "food" I could get without 1) poisoning myself with milk products, or 2) cooking. I didn't have the energy, and you have to be in the *mood* to cook when there's only one person.
